Four bedrooms with arched doorways that open onto the pool and the garden, each dressed in warm terracotta and natural timber with the handcrafted detail that defines every corner of this property. The pool curves through the white pebble courtyard beneath palms that have been here longer than the villa and intend to stay. The round jacuzzi sits inside a vaulted thatched bathroom, rattan pendant lights overhead, tropical plants around the edges, and a quality of light at dusk that makes the whole room feel like it was designed specifically for that hour. A fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, a living room, and a speaker that carries through the whole property for the evenings when the pool and the stars are all the entertainment required. Sixty metres from the villa, the turquoise water of the Indian Ocean begins, and with it, one of the most alive coral reefs in all of Indonesia.
